February 1, 2026 - On January 20, the Government of Canada launched the Scholarships and Education Exchanges for Development Phase 2 (SEED-2) for students from the Indo-Pacific region including the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) of which the Philippines is a member. The program is an expansion of Global Affairs Canada’s initial SEED program.

July 1, 2024 - British Columbia’s Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills (PSFS) recently partnered with the Philippines’ Commission on Higher Education (CHED) via a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the Promotion of Educational Cooperation and Two-Way Exchange Opportunities.
