A screen capture from the “Peace in our Time” video.
Born and raised in Manila, Artist Lenore RS Lim and Poetess Lakshmi Gill combined their talents in arts (prints and acrylics) and poetry to produce a video on Youtube for Filipino Heritage Month.
Titled “Peace in our Time,” the video features landscape glimpses from the peaceful mindset which inspired their childhood in the Philippines and continue to energize them in Canada.
Viewing the selected prints from their collections and excerpts from their poems will awaken latent feelings of longing and love of country in every Filipino heart that is beating far away from its home and native land. The video is short, less than 3 minutes viewing time, but very powerful and moving. Open this link and feel it for yourself.
