The Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver invites history buffs and interested film enhthusiasts to the screening of Unsurrendered, a documentary film commemorating Filipino WWII veterans.

It will be held on Sunday, November 17 at 3 PM at the Queensborough Community Centre in New Westminster. This Spyron AV Manila and Inarte Society presentation is a four-part series about the experiences of Filipino and allied soldiers during WWII in the Philippines. When the Japanese invaded the Philippines during the war, 300,000 Filipinos formed an underground army, including the youthful ROTC hunters guerillas, who marked a unique resistance force to the invaders. This is their courageous story.
