Co-produced by Theatre Inconnu and Bayanihan Community Centre, the play was written by Malou Jacob, Southeast Asian Write Award recipient and resident playwright of the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA).
September 16, 2023 - A film produced by Filipino producer Enrique Miguel Baniqued had been chosen as one of only two recipients of this year’s Toronto International Film Festival’s (TIFF) Every Story Accelerator programme. The film Village Keeper is directed by TIFF alumna Karen Chapman and is based on Chapman’s award-winning short film Measure.
September 1, 2023 - After more than a decade, acclaimed filmmaker Jun Robles Lana hits the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) again with the world premiere of his film Ina Ka ng Anak Mo (Your Mother’s Son). In 2012, Lana joined the film festival with his award-winning Bwakaw starring the late veteran actor Eddie Garcia.
