Thousands of eager customers lined up for hours outside the new Jollibee store in Mississauga when it opened its doors on July 20, 2018.
The store is located at 800 Boyer Boulevard, Unit 1, Mississauga, Ontario. It is the fourth Jollibee to open in Canada and the second store in the Greater Toronto Area. It comes just months after the company’s successful opening in Scarborough, the first in the Greater Toronto Area.
Local Toronto citizen Brandon Morgan was the first customer in line at Mississauga, securing his spot at 10 p.m. the night before the opening. Other customers traveled from as far as Montreal, a five-hour long drive, just to get a taste of Jollibee.
“We are thrilled to see that the enthusiasm is still there with close to 7,000 customers served on opening day and lines still forming outside the store,” said Jose Miñana, Jollibee Foods Corporation’s (JFC) Group President for North America.
